Pay for packs in crypto

  • AddedSeason Shop packs can now also be paid straight from your crypto wallet through OxaPay (BTC, ETH, USDT, DOGE, LTC and more), at the same dollar price. The pack arrives as soon as the payment confirms.

Safer slot buying

  • ChangedBuying a new miner slot on the Dashboard now takes two taps, so a stray click can't spend the SUBT.
  • ChangedTickets: one every 6 hours per player, so the admin can keep up with them.

Tuesday, October 13, 2026

Direct withdrawal fee

  • ChangedWithdrawals straight to your own wallet address now have a 2% fee (was 1%). FaucetPay withdrawals are unchanged.

Tuesday, October 13, 2026

Dogecoin and the Foreman

  • AddedDogecoin: a DOGE pool and a DOGE Block Hunter pool. Withdraw DOGE to FaucetPay from about $0.02 or to your own wallet from $1, convert it on the Exchange, or price marketplace listings in it.
  • AddedThe Foreman (above the marketplace): every day he buys three ores the market has too much of, at what they've sold for lately, in fixed amounts with a share per player (level 3+). Thanks Zarazakek for the idea!
  • FixedSome players got the ad-block screen without any ad blocker, because their antivirus or internet provider blocks one of our smaller ad partners. That alone no longer locks you out.

Tuesday, October 13, 2026

Terms update

  • ChangedThe Terms now state it plainly: deposits and purchases are final. Deposited crypto is never refunded in crypto; any refund is paid in SUBT.

Tuesday, October 13, 2026

Mine Boosts

  • ChangedThe permanent hit upgrade is replaced by Mine Boosts: +5 hits in every mine for 24 hours, 5,000 SUBT each, up to 4 at once (each with its own timer). One player with a strong pickaxe and many permanent hits could take half of a shared mine; boosts keep it fair.
  • FixedEveryone who bought hit upgrades got every SUBT back (check your notifications), and every mine is back to 10 hits.

Tuesday, October 13, 2026

Support tickets

  • AddedA Tickets page (bottom of the menu): send the admin a ticket with a category, a title and a message, and get the answer on the same page and in your notifications. Please write in English, a translator is fine.
  • ChangedThe ad-block screen now explains what else can block ads when you've already turned your blocker off (antivirus, VPN, DNS filters, browsers with built-in blockers), and the Tickets page stays open if you're stuck on it.

Sell ore in lots

  • AddedSplit into lots: list up to 100 identical lots of ore in one go (for example 20 lots of 1), so buyers can take one at a time. Thanks Zarazakek for the idea!
  • AddedMy Listings groups identical lots: reprice or take down the whole group with one click.
  • ChangedAfter you list something you stay on the Sell tab, ready to list the next item.
  • FixedThe Listings tab could only load the newest 1,000 listings; older ones would have silently disappeared once there were more. It now shows every listing.

Emberfall lootboxes

  • AddedSeason lootboxes in the Season Shop: Ember Cache (10,000 SUBT), Emberfall Chest (40,000) and Inferno Vault (150,000), with SUBT, ore, Ember items and up to 1,000,000 SUBT inside. Sold this season only.
  • AddedThe Cinderheart Pickaxe (power 6, 400 durability), found only in Emberfall lootboxes.
  • AddedTwo new packs: the Cache Pack ($5: 4 Ember Caches + 27,000 SUBT) and the Inferno Pack ($25: 2 Ember Rigs, an Ember Pickaxe, an Inferno Vault, 2 Emberfall Chests and 20,000 SUBT).

Sell your miners

  • AddedMiners can be sold on the marketplace: take one out of its room and list it from the Sell tab. Each has a minimum price of about half what went into it, and the sell form suggests what it took to make at recent prices. The free starter miner can't be sold.
  • FixedLast week's earnings race prizes didn't pay on Monday (the payout clashed with another job and was cancelled). The 10 winners have been paid now, and both weekly races retry automatically if that ever happens again.

Monday, October 12, 2026

Season 1: Emberfall

  • AddedThe Season Shop: each season brings its own limited miners and pickaxe, sold that season only. Season 1, Emberfall: Ember Spark (7,000 H/s, 5,000 SUBT), Ember Rig (50,000 H/s, 42,000 SUBT) and the Ember Pickaxe (power 5, 300 durability, 40,000 SUBT), each about 10% better value than crafting and with a limit per player.
  • AddedSeason packs, paid with FaucetPay: Spark ($2), Miner ($5), Digger ($5) and Supporter ($15), each worth 17–24% more than a plain deposit of the same amount, plus a new Supporter badge.
  • AddedSeason miners fuse up to level III for a SUBT fee only, and can't be crafted.
  • ChangedMarketplace minimum prices: tier 1 ore 10, tier 2 50 and tier 3 500 SUBT per unit (about half the usual price).
  • RemovedDaily Offers: the Season Shop takes its place in the menu.

Level IV fusion, 10 new badges, fixes

  • AddedLevel IV fusion for tier 1–3 miners: fuse two level III miners into one with 15.6x the base hashrate, in one slot. It's the priciest step (5x the level II fee and 10x the recipe in ore); tier 4–5 miners still stop at level III.
  • Added10 new badges: a Lootboxes tab (open 1, 25 and 100 lootboxes, win a 1%-odds reward, dig up a mine's lootbox, get one from a mini-game), plus Block Hunter (join, win a block, win 10) and level IV fusion badges under Miners.
  • ChangedMarketplace listings are easier to scan: identical lots from one seller are grouped ("12 available"), lots show their price per unit, and ore shows how its price compares with the 7-day average.
  • FixedThe inventory and marketplace no longer crash when every lootbox of a kind you own is listed for sale.
  • FixedPhones: the dashboard no longer scrolls sideways, and a big SUBT balance shows in full in the header (118K instead of 118,…).

Lootboxes, a lootbox in every mine, targeted refining

  • AddedSUBT lootboxes: Coin (100 SUBT), Treasure (1,000) and Vault (10,000) pay SUBT straight to your balance, up to 10 times their price.
  • AddedExcavator Lootbox (60,000 SUBT): a tier 3 to 5 miner, from a Platinum Miner up to an Aetherium Miner.
  • AddedEvery mine now hides one Arcade Lootbox within 20 tiles of the centre. Whoever digs it up keeps it, and the bar above the mine shows whether it's still buried.
  • AddedTargeted refining in the Machine: choose the ore you get, for 15, 23, 30 or 38 ores a batch instead of 10, 15, 20 or 25 for a random one.
  • ChangedCrates are now called lootboxes.
  • ChangedMine ore mix: Coal and Iron are a little less common, Tin, Sulfur, Silver, Quartz and Nickel a little more, to match what recipes actually use. Each mine holds the same amount of ore as before.
  • ChangedThe referral contest's first prize is now 50,000 SUBT; the extra 0.01 SOL is gone.
  • ChangedBlock Hunter explained more plainly: your chance is your average hashrate over the 30-minute round, divided by the pool's.
  • ChangedTerms: Subterra is 18+ only, and a new section covers lootboxes and other games of chance.

Saturday, October 10, 2026

Crates

  • AddedCrates, in the Shop's new Crates tab: ore crates, miner crates and a crate that can hold either, each with its own look and every reward's odds shown. They go to your inventory, where you open them, and they can be sold on the marketplace.
  • AddedArcade Crate: a won mini-game has a 1% chance to drop one, with SUBT or ore inside.

Saturday, October 10, 2026

Block Hunter pools

  • AddedBlock Hunter (Pools page → Block Hunter): every 30 minutes, one hunter in each pool wins the whole block instead of a share of it. Your chance is your share of the pool's hashrate over the round. SUBT, LTC, SOL and XRP pools, with recent winners and everyone hunting shown for each.

Withdraw from $0.02, and an easier free miner

  • AddedGet a push reminder before your first miner runs out of energy (offered right after it starts).
  • ChangedFaucetPay withdrawals now start at about $0.02 worth of LTC, SOL or XRP (was $0.10).
  • ChangedStarter quest: 5 mini-game wins instead of 10, and Quick Faucet claims count toward the faucet step. Your free Copper Miner is now given automatically the moment you finish, no button to press.
  • ChangedQuick Faucet: up to 50 claims a day, reset at 00:00 UTC.

Thursday, October 8, 2026

Referral contest: a minimum to win each prize

  • ChangedEach referral contest prize now needs a minimum number of counted invites: 10 for 1st, 7 for 2nd, 5 for 3rd and 2 for 4th to 10th. Below your place's minimum, you get the best prize still open that you do reach. The prizes stay the same, and Events shows what you'd win if the contest ended now. This applies to the October contest, which runs until November 1.

Less daily ore, fairer ore prices

  • AddedThe sell form now warns you when your price is less than half of what that ore has recently sold for.
  • ChangedFrom the next refill (00:00 UTC), Daily Offers no longer sells tier 1 ore and sells half as much tier 2. Tiers 3 to 5 stay the same. Mined ore now does more of the supplying, so what you mine sells at what players pay, not at the shop's price. Thanks for the suggestions in the chat!
  • ChangedHigher minimum marketplace prices for deep ore, per unit: tier 3 from 150 to 300 SUBT, tier 4 from 750 to 3,000, tier 5 from 3,000 to 30,000. Tier 4 and 5 ore was selling for about a tenth of its worth. Listings already up are not affected.

Far fewer pop-up ads

  • FixedPop-up ads were showing far more often than they should, mostly when moving between the Faucet and the Quick Faucet. They now stick to their limits: about one every 3 minutes on the Quick Faucet, and one every 3 hours on the other pages that have them.

Monday, October 5, 2026

The Quick Faucet: 3 SUBT every 5 minutes

  • AddedQuick Faucet (left menu): claim 3 SUBT every 5 minutes on its own page, with the same quick captcha as the Faucet. It counts toward the Earnings race and your faucet badges.
  • RemovedThe 1 SUBT-a-minute quick faucet and its adslab.me captcha.

Monday, October 5, 2026

Crypto prices in the marketplace

  • ChangedListing ore for LTC, SOL or XRP now suggests a price in that coin (the recent average, converted at the site rate) instead of starting at 1. Switching currency keeps your price's value, and "Use it" fills in the suggestion.

Sunday, October 4, 2026

A faster captcha

  • AddedThe Faucet and mini-game wins now use a quick one-click check (Cloudflare Turnstile) instead of image puzzles. If it gives you trouble, the link under it switches back to hCaptcha, and your choice is remembered.

Saturday, October 3, 2026

Installing the app

  • AddedOn iPhone and iPad, "Install app" shows how to add Subterra to your home screen from Safari.
  • Fixed"Install app" in your profile menu now shows up where your browser can install Subterra, and after installing you get a message telling you where to find it (home screen or app list), or how to finish by hand if it didn't appear.

Saturday, October 3, 2026

The Subterra Wiki

  • AddedWiki (left menu): a guide to everything in Subterra — the mine, pickaxes, miners, pools, every free way to earn, the races, referrals, deposits and withdrawals — with live tables of every ore, pickaxe, bomb and miner.

Friday, October 2, 2026

A second faucet: 1 SUBT every minute

  • AddedQuick faucet on the Faucet page: claim 1 SUBT every minute, on its own timer next to the 30-minute faucet. It counts toward the Earnings race and your faucet badges.
  • ChangedThe quick faucet's captcha opens on adslab.me: solve it there and you're brought back to the Faucet page, where your SUBT is claimed automatically.

A clearer mine, fairer contests and prize messages

  • ChangedThe mine is now one kind of rock all the way down. The coloured layers were only decoration — ore was never tied to depth — so they're gone.
  • ChangedReferral contests from now on count an invite only once that player gets their first miner (the free starter miner counts). Sign-ups that never play no longer count.
  • ChangedPrize notifications for the weekly races and contests now tell you exactly where you finished and what you won.
  • ChangedDashboard: your level has its own tile, and your total taps moved into the Equipped pickaxe tile.
  • ChangedThe Invite friends block on the dashboard lists every referral reward and has a button to the current referral contest.
  • FixedThe Events page always shows the current contest, with its real prizes and rules.
  • FixedBanned accounts no longer appear on the leaderboards or count in the pool totals you see, and their marketplace listings are taken down.

Weekly Race page, a free-to-play race, and a reworked Machine

  • AddedWeekly Race page (left menu): the hashrate race and a new free-to-play Earnings race, side by side. Each pays its top 10 every Monday at 00:00 UTC.
  • AddedEarnings race: whoever earns the most SUBT in the week from the Faucet, Ads, Quests, mini-games and offerwalls wins. Mines doesn't count, and no deposit is needed. Prizes: 2,500 / 1,500 / 1,000 SUBT, then 250 for 4th–10th.
  • AddedSwap in the Machine: two ores of a tier for one random ore of the same tier — never one of the ores you put in.
  • AddedWorn-out pickaxes in your Inventory have a "Burn in the Machine" button that takes you straight there.
  • AddedThis "What's new?" page, so you can see every update.
  • ChangedRefine in the Machine takes any mix of ores from the same tier, not only the same ore.
  • ChangedThe Leaderboard shows the all-time rankings; the weekly races moved to the Race page.
  • ChangedYour balance at the top of the page now refreshes every minute, and right after your own actions.
  • RemovedMelt in the Machine.
  • RemovedThe TimeWall offerwall. Offers you already completed there are still credited.
